DragonBox Architecture
The following image will show you how the Dragon Box's overall design looks like:



An ultra-secure Operating System is running directly on chosen Hardware. Well evaluated System Services are then placed upon the Operating System. These consist of Database Systems, Web Servers and other general Services and Tools.

Above this Core System we put our Dragon System Enhancement Tools which will generally easen up the administration of the Dragon Box and build the basis and interface for interaction with the Core System.

System maintenance and configuration as well as tools for development needs you can find in another layer above the Dragon System Enhancement Tool's layer. This layer is partly made out of the Dragon Breath Framework, our own Open Source Development Framework. And the Dragon Box's Management Application: a web enabled configuration interface. The configuration is web based, so there is no need for any client side software installation.

Above this layer you may place either optional modules or self made and tailored software modules. Each of these modules can be installed and configured separately via the Dragon Box Management Application.

The whole Dragon Box comes with Security Monitoring options and a complete Backup Manager for an easy integration into your already running environment and possibility for fast and cheap Business Recovery and Continuity: The Dragon Box can be exchanged quickly after a failure and the Backup Manager handles the rest with the help of the last backups.
